Trivia[]
- Trevor Devall, voice actor of Blizzard, Paladin, Rocket Raccoon, and Klaue, wrote this episode.
- He's also written multiple episodes for Black Panther's Quest.
- This episode seems to take place during season 2 of Marvel's Spider-Man. The timeframe would have to be before the episode Rise Above it All because of Toomes escaping at the end of that episode.
- However, according to Harrison Wilcox, the episode was made to fit in between seasons 1 & 2. [1]
- Toomes was cellmates with Crossbones in the Vault, which would explain how he knew him to recruit him into the Goblin Nation as a field leader.
- Also Toomes' claims about wanting nothing to do with villainy anymore matches up with his behavior in Rise Above it All.
- The only argument against the episode taking place before Rise Above it All is Horizon High's gymnasium. Spider-Man didn't know about it until Venom Returns, but it also possible that he was focused on defeating Vulture, Klaue, (and Black Panther) that he didn't notice the area.
- Spider-Man and Toomes' character designs are exactly the same as in Marvel's Spider-Man.
- Adrian Toomes lacks pupils in his iris' because of the art style of Avenger's Black Panther's Quest lacking those in its character designs.
- Spider-Man is seen using a web-bomb gadget that has never been seen in Marvel's Spider-Man.
- Many things are revealed about Horizon High in this episode:
- Horizon has a stash of vibranium kept in storage.
- The school has a secret entrance activated by a keycode (which was not changed after Toomes was fired and became a villain).
- The school has a band room.
- The sound effects for Spider-Man's webs and Spider-Sense are reused from Ultimate Spider-Man.
