Spencer Smythe was a former teacher of Peter Parker's at Midtown high school, the father of Alistar Smythe, and a former associate of Adrian Toomes, Norman Osborn, and Raymond Warren. He hasn't been seen or mentioned since season one.

Smythe only shows respect to those who appreciate his work, and disrespect to anyone who wrongs him or believes they are not geniuses.

Alistar Smythe[]
Alistar is the only person Spencer has shown he truly cares for, even telling him that a school like Horizon High is beneath him. However, the two came into conflict when trying to capture both Spider-Men. Spencer for Raymond Warren and Alistar for Norman Osborn. It is unknown how they feel each currently.
Raymond Warren[]
Alistar and Raymond saw each other as allies who were both wronged against Norman Osborn. Alistar was confused when he saw Warren in jail after being arrested, unknown that it was a clone of him in the prison.
Norman Osborn[]
Spencer hated Norman after he mass-produced copies of his Spider-Slayer robots and fell back on his promise for a teaching position at Osborn Academy.
Harry Osborn[]
Spencer's dislike of Harry most likely carries over from him attending Horizon, for his hatred of Norman was shown after he got Harry kicked out of Horizon.
Peter Parker[]
Like many others at Midtown High, Spencer gets irritated by Peter's character and how he tends to carry on conversations as seen in Origins
Spencer's feud with Spider-Man came at the expense of Raymond Warren and Norman Osborn, for he has never expressed a hatred of Spider-Man.
Max Modell[]
Spencer hates Modell due to him having been able to create a popular school for geniuses.
