The Scream symbiote is one of the four original klyntar created by Knull and a member of the Symbiote Sisters. She appears in Maximum Venom and is the defacto leader of the Symbiote Sisters.
Appearance
Scream is a pale yellow and dark-orange symbiote with tendrils that act like long-flowing hair. It is unknown what her current host looks like.
Personality
As leader of the Symbiote Sisters, Scream does not tolerate when someone disobeys her orders or when they forget she is one of the original symbiotes This is shown when Venom commands her and the other sisters and Scream crushes his him against the floor. Then when Venom wishes to destroy Spider-Man on Earth, Scream orders him to find the World Killer, much to his annoyance.
History
Relationships
Venom
Scream refers to Venom as little brother, most likely because of him being her, Scorn, and Mania's creation from All-Black's remains. Viewing Venom as such, she will put the symbiote warrior in his place and remind him that she is superior to him when he tries to command her or argue against her orders.
Knull
As Knull's creation, all Scream wanted to do was serve her creator, but he discarded them after using her and her sisters to destroy the Celestials.
All-Black
Judging by how Scream and her sisters reacted to All-Black's death, they respected and cared about their deceased sister symbiote a lot. After All-Black's death it appears that Scream became the leader of the Symbiote Sisters.
Scorn
As a fellow symbiote sister, Scorn follows Scream's commands.
Mania
As a fellow symbiote sister Mania follows Scream's commands.
World Killer
Like Venom, the World Killer is another creation of Scream, Scorn, and Mania, having also been created from All-Black's remains.
Abilities
Sonic Scream
Scream is able to release a powerful sound wave from her mouth.
Hair-like Tendrils
Scream uses her hair-like tendrils to bind her opponents.
Mallet-like Tendrils
Scream can form her hands into the shapes of mallets.
Symbiote biology
Like all symbiotes, Scream is capable of changing her body-mass into different shapes and forms if she prefers too.

The Sisters temporarily had access to the Seed, which they used to power up to enhance the World-Killer.

Trivia
- This is the second time the Scream symbiote has been featured in animation. The first time was The Amazing Adventures of Spider-Man ride at Universal Studios Parks.
- This is the second time the Scream symbiote has had the ability to produce a sonic scream. The first time would be in the 2012 game Marvel: Avengers Alliance.
- Unlike the Marvel Comics, the Scream symbiote is not an offspring of Venom and their relation is instead reversed in this adaptation.
- Also unlike the Marvel Comics, the Scream symbiote was not inherently evil. Its first host Donna Diego had a personality disorder that affected the symbiote while they were bonded together. The Scream symbiote, while bonded to Patricia Washington and currently Andi Benton, is able to show its heroic and caring nature.
- Scream is the only symbiote whose host is not seen after Max Modell destroys the Symbiote Seed.
- Scream's ability for change her hands into mallets was most likely inspired by Riot from the Marvel Comics who is known for using blunt weapons as such.
