Trivia[]

  • The show takes place in a universe based on Marvel's Spider-Man, Avengers Assemble and Guardians of the Galaxy as seen by the design of Peter Parker and Spider-Man in the beginning and end of each episode.
    • Spider-Man's design during the main segments is similar to his Ultimate Spider-Man TV series counterpart, as, much like that series, his arms have no web pattern going down to his gloves.
    • The comic books feature more characters from the Marvel Comics universe, and while being kid-friendly and having a light-hearted tone, it is more of an all-ages book than specifically for pre-school age children demographic.
    • The appearance of Mr. Fantastic and Invisible Woman in the series would be the first appearance of the Fantastic Four in animation since Hulk and the Agents of S.M.A.S.H.
  • Before the animated series premiered, the children's books and toyline featured an art style similar to that of the previous Spider-Man series Ultimate Spider-Man.
  • Due to the show being produced in Canada, all of the actors from Marvel's Spider-Man, Avengers Assemble, and Guardians of the Galaxy did not reprise their roles due to different laws between American and Canadian acting unions.
    • Trevor Devall reprises his role as Rocket Raccoon due to having Canadian citizenship.
  • Gwen originally went by the name Spider-Gwen in most media for the show until Marvel Rising premiered and her name was changed to Ghost-Spider.
  • Episode 27 of the series "Bend Don't Break" is similar to the comic strip featured in Panini's Spider-Man Magazine: Rhino's Rampage as both involve Spider-Man and Ghost-Spider (Spider-Gwen) stopping Rhino.
  • In this series, Spider-Man, Miles Morales, Spider-Girl, and Ghost-Spider are voiced by Cole Howard, Zac Siewert, Gigi Saul Guerrero, and Emily Tennant respectively.
  • Spider-Man's age in the Marvel Super Hero Adventures comic book varies between the stories and writers. Sometimes he is a teenager like in the animated series and sometimes he is an adult with the stories as an adult taking place as part of a flashback.
  • Like the Ultimate Spider-Man TV series, Spider-Man breaks the fourth-wall and talks to the audience directly while explaining his stories.
