Trivia[]
- Knull is the only character in Marvel's Spider-Man to be a recently created character in the Marvel Comics, having debuted in the year 2018 while the shows second season was still airing on television.
- However, Knull doesn't appear nor is mentioned in the actual series, even when the Symbiote Sisters debut.
- Unlike the comics, Knull is the one who gave the symbiotes their name Klyntar and it originates from his language as cage instead of the symbiotes native tongue. Also unlike the comics, the symbiotes did not trap Knull using themselves as a cage.
- Knull's fate remains unknown, but he is most likely still alive.
- Before Knull was revealed to exist in the series, it was speculated that Thanos created the symbiotes by corrupting them from their benevolent state. However, the mad-titan actually found a rogue colony of benevolent symbiotes and corrupted them through experiments.
- Ironically, when Thanos wore the Carnage symbiote he was able to control the Black Suit Spider-Man in a similar manner to how Knull manipulated Eddie Brock and the Venom symbiote in the Marvel Comics.
