Hammerhead is a mob boss and a recurring villain in Marvel's Spider-Man. Despite being apprehended by Spider-Man on multiple occasions he always finds a way to get out of prison. He is also responsible for the creation of the supervillains Sandgirl and Blizzard.

- In "Screwball Live," Spider-Man alludes to Hammerhead having a metal plate in his head when saying, "there's probably enough metal in your head for the gold, silver, and bronze."[1] However, in "My Own Worst Enemy," Octavius as Superior Spider-Man was able to punch Hammerhead with the sound effect indicating that he knocked him out in one punch. It's possible the metal in his head isn't as strong as the material that other versions of the character in different media has or because of Superior Spider-Man's brutal fighting style he was able to knock out Hammerhead regardless.
