Plot
While everything seems lost, Spider-Man and the Spider-team look for a way to stop Adrian Toomes who took possession of the Goblin Mech. Spider-Man considers a risky option to defeat the King Goblin that could cost him his life, however ...

- Following the first season finale another death of a major character occurs. This time it being Otto Octavius who sacrificed himself so Spider-Man wouldn't have too in order to stop Adrian Toomes.
- Peter is once again friends with Gwen and Anya and thanks to a grant donation to Horizon by Otto, Peter is once again a Horizon student.
- He and Max are also on good terms, with the later hinting he may be aware of Peter being Spider-Man.
- Gwen and Anya do not learn of Peter being Spider-Man.
- This episode, along with Anna Maria Marcon's appearance in the show was spoiled by Disney XD Netherlands.
- Despite the preview clips going live from Disney XD Netherlands the month season 2 continued in the United States, the clips were actually uploaded sometime in August and kept private.
- The scene were Spider-Girl tries to rush Spider-Man out of the way of the laser fire is a reference to the first issue of her short-lived comic book series, The Spectacular Spider-Girl.
- Toomes' taking control of all technology and using the stark satellite to shoot down lasers on New York is similar to Doctor Octopus' plan in the Spider-Man comic storyline Ends of the Earth.
- Otto even makes a reference to the storyline by saying, "It's exactly what I would have done!" right before Anna Maria scolds him for saying it evilly.
- The trailer for this episode used a portion of the song Uprise by All Good Things.
- According to the cast list of this episode and Marvel.com, Miles will officially go by Spy-D as his hero name for the reminder of the series.[1]
