- This version of Captain America is the same one who appeared in the adjacent series Avengers Assemble and Guardians of the Galaxy.
- In this series, Captain America's signature "A" on the forehead of his mask doesn't appear, however it does appear on promotional artwork for Maximum Venom.
- Unlike the previous series Ultimate Spider-Man, Captain America and Spider-Man have never interacted or worked together at all.
- In Bring on the Bad Guys Part Two, Spider-Man thought he was working with Captain America until it was revealed to be Mysterio disguising himself as the Avenger.
