Ben Parker is a supporting character in Marvel's Spider-Man. He was the husband of May Parker and the uncle of Peter Parker. He has had a big influence on Peter's character; such as becoming the superhero Spider-Man.

Ben was a middle-aged man with gray hair while he was alive. He wears a red shirt, covered by another open black shirt
Personality[]
Throughout the series, Ben is described as knowledgeable and kind. Being the inspiration of Peter (and even Otto Octavius) during crucial moments, Ben's words have helped Peter get through times of self-doubt and to help friends who are experiencing the same emotions.

May was Ben's wife, and from the way she talks about him, the two had a strong and loving relationship. Throughout the series she mentions how Ben would be proud of Peter's accomplishments and the person he has become today.

Ben was like a father to Peter, having raised Peter to be the person he is today through his lessons and phrase about, "Great Power and Great Responsibility. Ben's death made Peter vow to make sure no one else ever loses a loved one just as he lost Ben." As reminder of Ben, Peter keeps the formula he wrote for, "With Great Power comes Great Responsibility" attached to his backpack.
