Absorbing Man (Real name Carl "Crusher" Creel) is a villain in Marvel's Spider-Man. He was tasked with stealing a drive for the mob boss Hammerhead, but Spider-Man (and one time the Avenger Hawkeye) got in his way each time.

Absorbing Man is a bald, muscular man. His attire consists of a white tank top and orange prison uniform pants.
Personality[]
Absorbing Man isn't very smart, which he claims he doesn't need to be when his power gives him incredible strength and endurance.

Hammerhead[]
Absorbing Man was formerly under Hammerhead's employee until both were defeated by Spider-Man. Despite the difference in power between the two Absorbing Man was loyal to Hammerhead and fearful of him when he was angry the loss of his flash drive.
Spider-Man[]
Like many other villains, Absorbing Man hated Spider-Man for interfering with his crimes.
Screwball[]
Absorbing Man and Hammerhead assumed Screwball was associated with Spider-Man and tracked her down to Midtown High School to use her as bait for the wall-crawler.

Material absorption[]
Absorbing Man has the power to absorb the material he desires by touching it. The downside to this power is that he is also vulnerable to any weaknesses of the material he absorbs.

Wrecking ball[]
Absorbing Man carries a wrecking ball with him that he flails around similar to a mace.

- This is the second time Absorbing Man has appeared in a Spider-Man cartoon, following Ultimate Spider-Man.
- He is voiced by Gregg Berger, who is known for voicing Rhino and Mystero in the 1994 Spider-Man Animated Series.
